We had a great experience! Despite the rain, everything was prepared so great, that we stayed dried and enjoy our experience so much!! Will definitely come back!!

This is an experience you will never forget. Carmen and her team are spectacular hosts, their attention to detail is impeccable and the space is immaculate. Everything from the moment we were picked up to drop off was absolute bliss! The property is blooming in the spring and summer with smells and wild fruit, and of course the truffle tasting menu was unbelievably good. This is an authentic Tuscan experience and a hidden jewel.

What is the magic word? No, not that, its truffles! We made our way north of Florence to the beautiful Mugello Valley in our little Fiat for a day of truffle hunting and pasta making. The star of the show was lago, a 10 year old truffle tracking rockstar who led us through the woods around villa Corzano to find 12 truffles. We wrapped up the hunt with a pasta class where we made 3 different truffle pastas; gnocchi, ravioli, and tortelli. Making pasta is fun, easy, and everything was super tasty. Our hosts were wonderful, and we learned a lot about truffles and the business of truffle hunting. This was also my first go at hand-made pasta. I may never buy a box of dry pasta again. All and all a great day.

Amazing experience, we met the owner of the farm Laura who was super friendly. Carmen & the truffle hunter were friendly and taught us so much! We found lots of truffles and got to taste things when we got back. A must do if you’re in Tuscany.

We did the private truffle hunt and pasta making experience and it was truly a highlight of our trip. Carmen, the truffle hunter, and chef, all played a role in making this such a cool and unique experience. The Tuscan feel of the kitchen and dining area made it even more authentic!

Our dreams of truffle hunting in the Tuscan countryside were made possible by Carmen and her wonderful family! More than just the amazing truffle hunt and cooking class, we were made to feel at home and truly get to experience what life is like here. Thank you for treating us as one of your own! This has been not only the highlight of our Italian adventure but also one of our favourites in our travels together. Grazie Mille!

We had the best time with Carmen, the truffle hunter and the dog. They taught us about the truffle, the hunt and the experience when hunting the truffle was truly an amazing experience. After the hunt we did a cooking course, and made lots of fresh pasta. The only challenge was how much food there was. Would come back and would recommend this experience to everyone!

Tutto organizzato nei minimi dettagli, tagliere preparato dallo chef con prodotti freschi e locali , vino locale di alta qualità. È stato bello scoprire i prodotti che offre il Mugello e quest'esperienza è stata sicuramente uno dei ricordi più belli della mia vacanza in toscana. Sicuramente ci tornerò per provare la famosa esperienza di caccia al tartufo.

We had the best time ever doing this truffle hunt! Carmen and our truffle hunter were so accommodating. Carmen picked us up at San Piero Station herself, and was so helpful and provided us with a lot of truffle knowledge. Achille (the dog) found around 10 truffles for us! After, we ate an incredible gourmet platter of cold cuts, cheese, and truffles. The farm we were on was gorgeous. It was a truly unforgettable experience. Thank you Carmen!

We had an incredible day hunting for truffles and cooking with the team at Mugello & Tuscany di Carmen Badiali! Our tartufai, Mauro, and his sweet dog Gina (who is very good at her job!!) took us on a walk through the woods where we found many delicious truffles and also mushrooms. We then had a wonderful experience with a local chef, Matteo, learning the art of homemade pasta. We made several different kinds of pasta - gnocchi, tortelli and tagliatelle- that Matteo cooked up into an absolutely delicious meal with the truffles and mushrooms we found in the morning. It was hands down some of the best and freshest food we have had on our vacation to Italy. The entire team was so kind and took very good care of us. All in all an amazing day - we would highly recommend this!

We had an amazing day with Mugello &Tuscany di Carmen. We were welcomed by our host Carmen, our guide Mauro and the star of the day, the truffle dog Gina! It is in a lovely setting and you can stay here also because it is a bed and breakfast too . We had a very nice walk into the woods, where Genia immediately started to find the treasured truffles. Our chef Cristian taught us how to make pasta and gnocchi from scratch. We all participated in the meal preparation. It was delicious. This is an experience you will cherish. If you are driving back to Florence be sure to take the Bolognese road. Amazing views of Tuscany.

My husband and I absolutely LOVED this tour! It was an absolute highlight of our time in Tuscany. We especially loved the cooking class at the end of the tour. The chef was super passionate about his food which really came through in the dishes we ate. It was by far some of the best italian food we've eaten. We were so impressed. All in all this tour exceeded our expectations and we'd recommend it to couples, singles or families. There's something for everyone to enjoy.

Absolutely the most wonderful experience! Gina, the truffle pup was so adorable and we found so many truffles and mushrooms 🍄! The cooking class was fun and informative! Carmen is a fantastic hostess! Overall a 5 star experience! …

This was my favorite thing that we did on our trip! We went on a pretty easy walk to the truffle hunting area and then went on a loop through that area. It wasn’t strenuous or far. We thought we would be lucky to find one truffle, but Gina the dog went to work and found us about 300 g! When we returned to the house, we prepared three types of pasta with a chef instructing us. Then he prepared the sauces and served us. We thought that was it, but then he brought out a beautiful Tuscan-style steak - so save some room. Everything was delicious! One note to know: water and coffee were included but wine for the meal was a separate purchase. Paolo was very helpful with the Italian-English interpretation and arranging transportation for us. If I were returning to the area, I might look at staying at the rooms in this agroturismo for 2-3 days.

Amazing experience! A lot of knowledge, a very fun truffle hunt, and exquisite food.

Amazing place, amazing hosts, hunting was unique and special experience. Learned a lot about truffles through the experience. After hunting for truffles we also learned how to make different pastas with chef cristian borchi and learned how to use the truffle in the pasta. Would 100% recommend people to go visit and get this experience.

Amazing truffle experience!! We did the hunt with the dog, we cooked 3 different kinds of pasta from scratch, we made the sauce and enjoyed the meal with a great wine and beef. The staff was amazing!! Totally worth it.

We had a wonderful time with the horseback riding experience! It was extremely affordable and everyone was so nice and helpful about all of the accommodations. It was a very personable experience and we felt welcomed the entire time! We had a wonderful lunch and met some nice furry friends, and then went riding on the countryside. The views were breathtaking and we would love to return! highly recommend! ❤️

Absolutely amazing experience! The family were so lovely and friendly and we even managed to find 90mg of truffle! The 3 course meal was delicious and cooking it was just as fun.

We had an amazing day from start to finish! Carmen bent over backwards to help us and Mauro the truffle hunter told us lots of grest stories, we learned a lot and found lots of truffles. Christian the chef was also a great teacher. Yummy meal to boot! I highly recommend the experience!
