Cucina molto discreta e abbondante per una città molto turistica Accesso tramite ripide scale in pietra quindi impossibili da raggiungere per disabili o passeggini (evitare i tacchi)

Cute little place about 3 minutes from the ferry dock. I ordered carbonara, pizza and cake of the day. The carbonara was excellent, one of the best I’ve tried and the price isn’t bad. The margherita pizza was reminiscent of New York pizza, which I like but some may not if they’re expecting classic Neapolitan. The cake of the day for me was a chocolate mousse, which was also very good and not overly sweet. Prices were all reasonable too, a whole pizza costs an average of 9€. They also give bread before the meal but it’s not on the house, it costs i think 2.50€ per person. In addition to food, service was also good, the servers spoke English and were very helpful with our questions

carbonara was not as good as the other ive tried here in italy. got the four seasons pizza which turned out so soggy and badly presented. understandably, restaurant is on the cheaper side so don’t expect too much!

Awesome food at a reasonable price! Great, authentic Italian food that was superbly tasty. You do have to walk up a small flight of stairs to get there and be there early unless you have a reservation- the crowds build up quickly.

It's hard to find an open restaurant in Bellagio in early March, so we were glad to find La Grotto. The interior is classier, the waiters were polite but not exceptionally nice. We ordered risotto and pasta, both of which we liked.

Ottimo ristorante con menù piuttosto vario anche se purtroppo non siamo potuti rimanere a mangiare perché il nostro cucciolo si stava agitando un po'. Il personale è stato molto carino e comprensivo e ci ha anche detto che non c'era bisogno di andare via siccome non stavamo disturbando nessuno. Abbiamo pagato e abbiamo portato la pizza a casa. Consiglio di andare ed è ottimo soprattutto per le famiglie.

It's called LA grotta for a reason, the perfect pizza! We had the breaded perch rissotto but were a bit underwhelmed, especially as it's supposedly the local dish, but may just not be to our taste

We were here June of 2023. One of the better restaurants in Bellagio where we left feeling like it was worth the $. Very easy to fall into a tourists trap around Lake Como but this restaurant was good.

Delicious pizza. It almost tastes more New York style. It’s just really good pizza. The service was great: quick and polite. Also had the tiramisu and a bottle of red. Everything exceeded expectations with reasonable prices!
