The best Arancine I found here and not in other cafes for gullible tourists. Tucked away in the picturesque streets of Cefalù lies a true treasure for aficionados of authentic Sicilian street food – "Bar Al Caffè". I was told by some locals to pay a visit, although it really seemed like a place for the locals rather than an attractive business for tourists. From the moment I set foot inside, I was greeted by the irresistible scent of freshly prepared arancine Siciliane, and let me assure you, my expectations were exceeded in every way! The indisputable star of the show was, of course, the arancine. These delectable golden rice balls were generously filled with the two traditional flavors only – the timeless ragù and the "al burro" version with cheese and prosciutto. Each bite was a symphony of taste that instantly transported me to the heart of Sicily. What truly impressed me was the unwavering quality – whether I visited during the bustling hours or the quieter moments, the arancine remained consistently divine: they were good even COLD (which is an important test for this recipe, in fact they are usually good only when hot). But the feast didn't conclude with the arancine. "Bar Al Caffè" elevates the concept of Sicilian street food with their diverse selection of ready-to-enjoy delights. The pizza al taglio, boasting a crispy crust adorned with lavish toppings, was a revelation to the taste buds. And don't even get me started on the small calzone ripieno – these single-portion stuffed calzones were a nostalgic nod to traditional Sicilian flavors that left me craving for more. The ambiance of "Bar Al Caffè" was as inviting as the culinary offerings themselves. Finalmente un locale non turistico a Cefalù. Ambiente familiare e cortese Non ho assaggiato i salari ma a vedere l’affluenza devono essere ottimi. Sono venuta anche 2 volte al giorno per il gelato e le granite ottimi Consiglio vivamente il gelato alla nocciola
