Non chiamatela cena ma ESPERIENZA. Un'esperienza in grado di svegliare, stimolare e soddisfare tutti i sensi (e lascio la curiosità di scoprire come il cibo possa gratificare anche l'udito). Il tutto in un'atmosfera curata, con un servizio attento ed al contempo easy, dinamico e preparato. Ed in ogni piatto, parola e gesto ogni membro dello staff riesce a trasmettere la sua conoscenza ed enorme passione!

Absolutely amazing experience. The best place we've ever been in Tuscany. Fine dining at it's best. Luis is an amazing person and host, he made us feel so comfortable and welcomed. Matia is an amazing chef, the food, wine and atmosphere was incredible. We can't wait to see you again. Thank you for everything. ❤️

Davvero un'esperienza gastronomica

Abbiamo scelto Cortona come meta per un breve soggiorno in Toscana in occasione del mio compleanno. Cercavo un ristorante con una cucina speciale che potesse farmi festeggiare in maniera memorabile quest'occasione. Ho scelto il Ristorante "Al Tocco" facendomi ispirare da alcune foto on line. La cena ha superato ogni aspettativa. Ci siamo affidati ai consigli del proprietario scegliendo un menù degustazione "blainde menu" con 5 portate e abbinamento di vini ad ogni piatto. Posso definire la cena un'esperienza sensoriale unica, grazie anche alla maestria nell'esaltare i sapori dei piatti grazie al perfetto abbinamento dei vini: un tour enologico internazionale. Non è mancata nemmeno la candelina sul dolce finale creato fuori menù appositamente per l'occasione. Complimenti allo Chef in un contesto turistico con prevalente cucina toscana ha saputo inserire un ristorante che propone una cucina gourmet che non ha nulla da invidiare ai più blasonati chef stellati

I feel bougie saying this, but from New York, I have been to more than my fair share of Michelin Star restaurants. This restaurant exceeded the level of service and quality of meal and at a fraction of the price. Truly a memorable evening worth a trip even if you aren’t staying in Cortona. Chef even created 2 new dishes on the spot to give us a 7 course tasting on top of the 5 offered. Fantastic.

As travelers, we have eaten some very good meals. This was the top meal we have eaten. Small and intimate with an amazing staff and chef. Do not miss this if you are even close to Cortano.

Smashed it, all food was great. Only 9 tables and the chef came down to speak to us all. Deserves a Michelin star!

We came here because of the good reviews. The restaurant did not disappoint and we left loving Cortona even more! 100% recommend this restaurant to anyone who visits Cortona. We did not book, and were lucky to have a table, but I do recommend calling prior to your visit!

This place is truly special. I'm not exaggerating when I say it was the best meal I've ever had. Every single bite was so flavorful and delicious, Definitely opt for the tasting menu with wine pairings, you won't be disappointed. So happy we were able to try this place before they become a Michelin starred hot-spot. It's a great value at €110 per person for the five course tasting menu with wine pairings. If you have the chance, definitely go here for dinner. The chef will no doubt be famous by this time next year.

Un'esperienza incredibile, tutto buonissimo presentato in maniera magistrale dallo chef Mattia, anche molto simpatico. Assolutamente da provare se passate per Cortona

Let’s just say, we ordered everything off the menu…and it did not disappoint

I’m almost 29 and if I’ve done the math correctly, that’s about 30,660 meals I’ve had so far in my lifetime. With that in mind I can confidently say that the meals here has trump every single meals I’ve ever had (sorry mom 😔). I’m comparing this to other fine dining experiences in miami and New York that I’ve had. With every bite came an embarrassing happy dance that I tried so hard to control. It’s not only the food, it’s the service, the ambience and the general kindness and hospitality. If you’re contemplating eating here, make your reserve asap. You won’t be dissatisfied.

Il ristorante è un gioiello nel pieno centro di Cortona. Io e il mio fidanzato siamo stati davvero bene. L’ambiente è ben curato, lo staff accogliente, discreto e fresco. I piatti sono curati, calibrati nei sapori e nelle porzioni, mise en place elegante e delicata. Lo chef è molto preparato e professionale. Con grande potenzialità e qualità. Abbiamo apprezzato moltissimo che sia venuto a salutare e chiedere come era stata la cena. Un accogliente padrone di casa. Sono certa che un ristorante di questa portata possa mirare anche a città internazionali. Grazie per averci fatto passare una cena davvero piacevole e di grande respiro. A presto.

The team at Al Tocco did a phenomenal job of paying homage to the region’s cuisine while remaining unique and inventive. The tasting menu and wine pairing are lovely, but I imagine the a la cart options are equally brilliant. Highly recommend this restaurant.

We had the chef's tasting menu which was amazing. Let your senses run wild with a chef (Mattia) who knows his stuff. Front of house which is so personable... thank you we will be back.

This is the favorite restaurant of me and my family. Coming here for the past 3 years has been a party en we will be coming back. A must visit when you are in cortona.

Semplicemente meraviglioso! Su consiglio di un amico siamo stati sorpresi dallo chef con un menù degustazione vegetariano. Così gustoso, davvero bello che fosse possibile. Non capiamo perché questo ristorante non abbia ancora una stella. Ho apprezzato molto sia il cibo che l'esperienza e l'ottimo servizio. Lo chef e il padrone di casa sono più che cordiali e completano l'esperienza!

Chef Mattia was extremely impressive. Each dish in his tasting menu was beautiful and delicious. While I’m confident each of his dishes would please, do yourself the favor of indulging in his tasting menu — it does not disappoint. You’re taken on a culinary journey that exists in few places of the world, and if you find yourself in Cortona, consider yourself lucky.

Sono finito in questo piccolo ristorante su consiglio di un amico e gli sono molto grato. Ottimo cibo e servizio disponibile. Dall'inizio alla fine ho mangiato piatti che mi accompagneranno a lungo nel gusto e nella presentazione. In effetti, era così buono che siamo tornati il giorno dopo e abbiamo mangiato la stessa cosa. Mille grazie per questa meravigliosa esperienza. 🙏
