He went above and beyond to make this special moment for us even more special. And was able to capture the magic and love that we shared in that moment. But also in his ability to make us feel totally at ease in front of the camera, and in his commitment to creating the best possible experience for us. We will cherish the pictures forever. Ho conosciuto il lavoro di Francesco attraverso una diretta facebook per Nikon, ai tempi del covid. All'epoca, ciò che mi rimase impresso, oltre ai suoi scatti, fu la sua storia personale e il bisogno di avere sempre a portata di mano una macchina fotografica per catturare i suoi attimi di vita familiare. Qualche anno dopo io e Michele abbiamo scelto Francesco per il nostro giorno più bello e non potevamo fare scelta migliore. Cercavamo un professionista che catturasse con naturalezza e spontaneità tutti i momenti e le emozioni che abbiamo vissuto nel nostro giorno. Francesco è stato empatico sin dal primo momento che ci siamo conosciuti, ed anche tutti gli ospiti sono stati entusiasti della sua persona. Da pugliese ho voluto uscire dai confini regionali proprio perché le sue foto trasmettono davvero delle emozioni, ancora oggi quando le rivedo percepisco tutta la felicità vissuta quel giorno.

We were told that there is one thing you want to get right for your wedding day and that is your choice of photographer and Fra was the absolute best choice we made. He captured everything and most of the time you had no idea he was even there. We wanted a photographer who would not only capture the formal moments, but the natural candid moments too and the results were above and beyond what we expected. He took the time to get the little details and capture memories that otherwise may have been forgotten. Not only that, but he put us at ease throughout the day, keeping us relaxed and smiling even when the rain decided to threaten the day. We only have good things to say about Fra and you will absolutely not regret having him as your photographer!

Finding a good photographer to capture an event as important as our wedding, was on the top of our list. We got lucky because Francesco was not good – he was excellent. My husband and I were initially impressed with his online portfolio. After a virtual meeting, we knew he was the photographer we were looking for. Francesco (and his second hand, Lorenzo) captured our wedding day from start to end. Every little detail and moment were made special with his sharp eye and quick feet. Francesco was professional, creative, and fun. He knew what to say at what time and guided us into beautiful poses while also allowing us to be ourselves. Not only did Francesco capture our wedding day, he also agreed to spend time with us the day after, for a fun shoot. Both experiences were remarkable, and the final product shows it. Because of him, we have such a special, intimate, and elegant gallery of photos to cherish forever. Francesco is a talented wedding photographer, and we could not recommend him enough!

Francesco and Lorenzo were fantastic photographers at our two-day wedding event at Lake Como. They captured formal moments, casual moments, and everything in between. They also helped us at every turn with posing, tying ties, and reassuring us that even if it rained (which it did briefly) the photos would be even more dramatic and beautiful. As our wedding took place late April at the beginning of the season, we also got our pictures back at lightning speed in less than a month! There are so many photos, such an extensive collection of lovely memories that my husband and I will cherish for years to come. We have already ordered framed photos and will be ordering art albums as well (my draft currently has the max 96 pages).

Francesco was absolutely incredible to work with! He photographed our intimate and special engagement to perfection! We could not be more in love with the photos Francesco took (see below). Not only is Francesco so kind and warm but he made us feel so comfortable during our photoshoot. He also got us our photos back within hours! 10/10 would recommend working with Francesco!

Fra is the absolute best! I reached out to a few photographers for my Florence trip to help me with my proposal for my beautiful, now, finance and I cannot imagine crushing this fantastic moment with anyone else. Fra said everything I wanted to hear in his first response and went of his way to supply even more information. I instantly knew this was my guy. When I officially met Fra face to face it was literally only minutes before the surprise occurred and it went flawlessly. He was very communicative through email to get the ball rolling and once I was in Italy, we switched over to WhatsApp, which was great. We are over the moon on how well the photos came out and we could not be happier to have met such a great professional.

Fra is a pleasant to work with! My wife and I were longing for photoshoots in Florence and we did a lot of research to find the right professional to help us. Fra's portfolio gave us a great impression with his ability of capturing emotion and lights (like carravagio's light!), so we went ahead to discuss with him the arrangement. On the day of shooting, Fra took the time upfront to learn more about our character and expectations. I like that he makes things clear to ensure his pictures and suggested posing match our expectations. The shooting in Florence old town was pleasant and we were blessed with great weather. The most exciting part is where we head out to val d'orcia. Fra drove us all the way and we really appreciated that. Our itinerary covers Pienza (where we had a quick lunch) and various scenic spots at Val D'orcia. I would describe the whole shooting as great fun and you don't feel like you are doing the photographs. Another thing I like is that Fra is well in control of the shooting planning while adapting to the day's situation/ weather. We had our shooting in mid November and the daylight was limited. Fra was able to find interesting spots for our photo based on where the light goes, gave us sufficient time to rest, and do all the spots at val d'orcia, all well timed and well managed. We even got our photos before we head back to our home town :) The speed of delivery is incredible. I would recommend Francesco to anyone heading to Florence for a memorable photo shooting session.

When I first started looking for photographers for our wedding, everything felt off, each and every one I looked at seems ok at first but then I found things that I just didn't like. Nobody seemed to be the right fit for us. I found Francesco by pure chance, through a tag in a wedding hair and makeup picture on IG. When I first saw that picture I felt mesmerized by it. It was love at first sight. I then looked a bit around to compare works, prices, etc. but the truth is, once you see Francesco's photography you simply cannot let it go. There's no other option. I knew then that it had to either be him taking the pictures at our wedding, or nobody else. Now that I got the wedding pictures I am even more convinced that he is, indeed, the best photographer you could even dream of. His way of working is discrete, friendly, humble, quiet, sometimes you don't even realize he is around. Then the pictures come out and it's simply a work of art. I will never get tired of praising him and words cannot describe how happy I am that I chose him as our wedding photographer.

We honestly could not be happier with the outcome of the photo's. He truly captured every moment & emotion - the tears, the laughter and the pure joy we felt that day! They are so special to look through and we can really re-live every moment looking at them. He was absolutely fantastic on the day, really made us both feel so comfortable and at ease and it was a pleasure to have him around. Super friendly and very professional, and helped us have fun whilst taking our couple shots!! It was also nice to see him enjoying himself too, you can really tell that he is passionate about his job and loves what he does. You will not be sorry if you choose him as your photographer :) xx

I literally can’t say enough about Francesco’s expertise and professionalism throughout our entire experience. I had a few complicated requests ( I was aiming to get surprise proposal photos in front of the duomo at the peak of dawn without my significant other noticing.) Francesco was very accommodating with my requests, and provided candid advice as to how to best plan and coordinate based on what I wanted. During the shoot, Francesco did an amazing job at helping us feel comfortable and guiding us, while still providing us our own liberty and space to make it our own. It took me a while to loosen up, but a few jokes later and it all felt natural. Now, on to the photos. Absolutely stunning. We received over 275 fully edited and impeccable photos that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. The lighting, the locations, and the captured moments by Francesco were beyond what we could ever ask for. I can’t thank you enough Fra and would 10/10 recommend this for anyone looking for any kind of photographs in Florence!

Francesco was such a pleasure to work with during two days of engagement photos in Florence. He was very helpful during the planning process and dealt with a lot of stress regarding potential bad weather. He also adjusted quickly and on the fly to edit the photos to our liking and take photos that were perhaps not his typical style because we requested them. He also turned around over 500 edited photos from two shoots within one week!

My wife and I hired Francesco to take engagement/wedding photos in Florence. He came highly recommended from a jeweler on the Ponte Vecchio and he did not disappoint. Before starting, he really took the time to know us. We had never done this kind of thing before, so for us it was very difficult to get comfortable with at first, but Francesco was very personable, easy to work with, and gave us many tips along the way. By the end it was if one of our friends was taking the photos. Had it been someone else taking the photos I’m not sure we would have opened up as much and the results would not have been as good as they were. Francesco’s style and way of capturing light really lends itself to shooting in Italy. All of the photos are beautiful, creative, and very different than many other wedding or engagement photos we have seen. We could not recommend working with Francesco any more!

Francesco was supposed to be my husband and I's wedding photographer in April 2020. Unfortunately, due to cover we had to cancel our wedding in Florence and get married at home in California. Francesco was very gracious about the situation and told us to let him know when we were back in Florence or if we decided to reschedule the wedding. We were lucky enough to return to Florence this month and do a maternity shoot with Francesco, and he was wonderful! We said we wanted to walk around Florence and shoot at all the major sites in the city. Francesco led us to the best places for scenery and light. He gave us enough direction so we knew what to do (we are not big photo takers), he made us feel comfortable and got great shots of us looking natural and in the moment. After just two hours with him we got back over 100 edited photos. We were shocked with how many photos we got and how many we loved. I would highly recommend Francesco for any event or occasion that you need a photographer. I still wish that we got to have him as our wedding photographer because he would have be fantastic!

We had the most amazing engagement shoot with Fra! He really managed to capture us in the most natural way possible, even when we were being helped with poses. The final photos reflected both our personalities and can’t wait to share them with the rest of the family. They portray some deep emotion, exactly what we were looking for and capture the most amazing memories from that evening and we are so glad you were there to help us create them!

My husband and I are so thankful that our wedding planner (Elisabetta Taliani/Special Days in Tuscany) connected us with Francesco! He made us feel so comfortable while capturing beautiful photographs. My five year old niece/flower girl loved working with him as well! Our time together was filled with light-heated conversations plus lots of great gelato recommendations! A true artist, and an all around great person to join us on our special day.

My friends and I spent a week in Florence to celebrate a few milestone birthdays. We are all so thankful we hired Francesco to capture the night of the birthday celebration. He came out to the villa we rented and took so many amazing pictures of us laughing and having the best time. He also took some great portraits and landscape pictures. Francesco was so kind and so easy to work with. We will have these photos to remind us of the trip of a lifetime, and we’ll treasure them forever!!! Thank you so much!!!

I cannot express how stunning the photos are that Fra took at our wedding, this July in Tuscany. Not only was he easy to work with, he will immediately put you at ease, if you dread having your photo taken (like my husband and I do). Not only is he a consummate professional, he captured the love and the spirit of the day. Truly an artist of his craft, he is brilliant at composition and lighting and has a sharp eye for finding those unique, funny, and wonderful moments that happen in the sidelines of a wedding day. We were looking for a photographer who we made us feel at ease and knew what we were looking for. Francesco was exactly that and we are so happy we connected with him. He was responsive, passionate about his work, able to be flexible with his time, came out all the way to where we were and delivered above and beyond the photos we had wanted. Honestly, just a super nice guy who takes incredible photos and will blast music out of his car in the middle of a vineyard to make sure he gets those photos of you dancing spontaneously! Photos to last a lifetime. We had so much fun on our engagement shoot and hope to one day perhaps do a shoot again with Francesco and our children! :)

Where do I begin? Fra was absolutely amazing through our whole wedding process! I found his work online and loved his aesthetic. It felt artistic, candid, and expressive. So my fiancé and I contacted him. He requested to Skype (since we live in California). He is so warm and friendly. He got a feeling of what we wanted and which package would be best for our wedding. The day of the wedding he came well before (with a drone) to capture images of the villa, our friends by the pool, and us getting ready. I felt so at ease having him around. For the actual ceremony, I don’t know how he did it. He got pictures of everything! Our parents from different angles, the look on my fiancé’s face while I walked down the isle, the look on my daughter’s face, beautiful shots of me walking down, the view from the end of the isle toward us, my daughter’s hand on my back while i read my vows (which i didn’t realize at the time, because i was nervous, and never would have known if he hadn’t captured it), my parents holding hands, my maid of honor wiping away a tear, us smiling and kissing as we walked down the isle together, my husband’s impromptu dip and kiss once we were alone, and so much more in between. He got it all. He was doing it alone but you would think he had a whole team with him. I was so impressed! During our photo time away from everyone, he was great about telling us where to stand and giving some direction but then we just acted like ourselves while he captured it. They turned out amazing. This continued the whole night. He got such amazing shots of all of our guests, the venue, reception decorations, flowers, food, fireworks, dancing, singing, etc. His pictures show how we felt through the entire day. This is the best purchase we made for our wedding. Hands down. The final result is just stunning and we will have these memories through his pictures forever. I’m so grateful to Fra and cannot recommend him highly enough!

FRA! Thank you for being a huge part of our day in Vico d’Arbia in June 2019. Looking at all the photos now has brought me back when I first started wedding planning in September 2018 and I stumbled across your Instagram and it was a love at first sight as I described to you in one of our first emails that we have found THE ONE (you!) to be our wedding photographer. Although we never met before the wedding (just through emails and Instagram!), we felt completely at ease as soon as we saw you on the day. It’s like seeing a good friend again! Fra was absolutely amazing as our wedding photographer in just about every way. He has a wonderful sense of humor, charm, and calmness to him that made us feel very comfortable during our entire wedding day. We had both a Hindu ceremony and a traditional ceremony and Fra was so flexible and easy to work with on both of the weddings. And above all, his photos are so beautiful and he helped make our wedding day so special.
