I have gone here at least five times in the last two months. Yes, the food is fantastic and is definitely the best antipasto i’ve had in Florence. Yes, the wine is delicious. But most of all are the wonderful guys on staff. I left my umbrella the first time I ate here, ran back to get it at midnight right as they were closing, and they insisted on walking me home after. Buchetta is one of those places that is entirely made up of the people who cook and serve here 🥹 So sad that I will have to leave Florence soon, but rest assured I’ll be back just for this restaurant

My daughter and I looked online for a restaurant for dinner before heading to Piazza Michelangelo and we came across La Buchetta. We took a chance and walked there. We were incredibly lucky to get a table. They are typically booked with reservations but maybe because we arrived early we got in. From the moment we sat down we felt welcomed. Our waiter, Bajram, was excellent. He made great suggestions and was extremely friendly, cordial and professional. We shared a pasta dish followed by the rib eye. Both were exceptional. We had an incredible bottle of wine also. If in Florence do not miss this gem of a restaurant! Grazie!

We were able to walk-in early around 5:30pm. I thought the all the servers were great and fun to talk to. Food and wine overall was great!! My favorite part was the hot cheesecake. Only complaint was I asked for my filet mignon to be cooked medium and it came out rare and had a bit of fat.

Not only one of the best meals in Florence, but one of the best I've had in my life. Starting with the Bruschetta, followed by the Angels and Demons gnocchi and then the filet mignon accompanied by a local red. Food was excellently prepared, spaced evenly all in the environs of a cozy atmosphere where you know many people have shared a great meal. I would come back to Florence just to eat here again.

We had just checked in to Kairo's Art apartments and the desk agent told us the best Steak Florentine was a block away. Was she ever right! For Lunch: my spouse had a pasta dish swirled in a cheese wheel. Creamy, rich and beyond description. I indulged and had a steak Florentine - yes, all to myself - and I ate most of the 2 pounds of meat. I enjoyed every rich and divine mouthful. If that steak were here in California, it would have easily been 150$. Here in Florence, it was less than 80. Service was impeccable. We would definitely eat here again. Bravo!

Was told steak only comes rare to med rare, ok fine. But steak arrived blue rare at best. I cook steak once a week min and it came under blue rare. The waiter asked if we wanted it cooked more after cutting it up and seeing raw meat my wifes plate. Yes pls cook a bit more for us, but returned with a much fewer pieces of steak on the plate that had been taken away. Easy to tell as we had one piece each before it left and we each had to normal pieces when it returned, there where a few half meat and most fat chunks left after the 4 eaten. We didn't complain as we were full anyway and and after 1.5 hours there, we just wanted a coffee. Order an Italian coffee, got an Americano coffee we specifically said we didnt want. Wait staff does not listen. Tiramisu was obviously older, easy to tell. Was not up to Italian standard, as had at other venues. Overall, it was disappointing as we made a reservation over a month in advance and paid a small fortune for a few pieces of meat and some pasta to share.

The food was amazing and the service was great, they were super interactive and friendly. I got the gnocchi and it had flowers on it it was so adorable. Highly recommend!!

Incredible restaurant.. the best bistecca alla florentina better than trattoria d'osta that we eat yesterday and much better service especially Emiliano is awesome.. and to finish one of the best tiramisu we tried.. highly recommended.. from Greece…
