Wedding Box is a great local wedding planning company, with a team that is highly experienced and helped us to organize our destination wedding in Lake Como bringing in our family and friends from around the world! They showed us different venue options and helped us to lock in the beautiful villa and coordinate with all of the venues. Monica from Wedding Box was our fabulous wedding planner! She was very proactive, responsive and put in so much care and attention to make our wedding day special for us - incorporating all of our special touches! She made the whole process enjoyable and smooth for us and was very communicative to work out logistics and any forseeable issues - and luckily we had none! We had some special requests, that she even found a Brazilian bakery in Milan that can make the traditional "bem-casado" wedding treats, and they even made them gluten-free! Despite rain and a tree falling in the road creating traffic delays on the morning of the wedding, the sun came out in the afternoon and everything went perfectly! Our wedding day was truly perfect, and a day we will never forget. Thank you Monica and Wedding Box!

Wonderful wedding thanks to Monica, she made sure everything was covered and ready for the day. We planned everything from afar and was nervous to arrive there since all communication was through email. I can say everything went out fine thanks to Monica catering was delicious, flowers were beautiful, and the singer had an amazing voice.

I hired WeddingBox to plan my dream wedding in Italy. Given I was planning a wedding from abroad, I was a bit stressed as you can imagine. Valbona, the wedding planner I worked with, was SUPER HELPFUL. She was patient (when I was having meltdowns lol!!) and always provided creative solutions to meet my needs. Oh where do we start! We cannot gush more about Sally and her team. Our relationship spanned over a year and over hundreds of emails! The best wedding planner we could have ever asked for! We cannot recommend Sally and her team enough. She made everything regarding the actual planning seem so simple and easy, but we know all the hard work and coordination that goes on their end to be able to make everything seem this way for us. Even though we were 6 hours behind and thousands of miles away she helped us plan and visualize everything without ever having visited the area even. Always organized and on top of deadlines and vendors, we didn’t have to worry about anything which was a major relief with both of us having full time jobs and no time for planning. We were not sure what to expect since we were not able to make any visits prior to our wedding but everything was absolutely magical and better than we could have ever dreamed of thanks to them. Our wedding was in Sept 2020 and so we were planning right the way through the pandemic. Polina and Sally were a dream to work with - I did some of the planning myself but Polina and Sally really helped with transport, lighting and liaising with Italian suppliers. Sally was an absolute star the day of our wedding - everything went as planned, we did not have to worry about a single thing which was amazing. Sally raced back to get the rings (as we had forgot them in the suite - 3 flights of stairs!!). Our guests commented on how organised and brilliant she was - and we were all in agreement, our wedding day would not have been the same without Sally and Polina's organisation and presence on the day. Money very well spent. I was in the same predicament every bride was in as to whether to budget for planners - DO IT - and pick Wedding Box - you won't regret it xx

We cannot thank Polina and everyone at WeddingBox enough for making our wedding day even better than we could have ever dreamed!!! I think this might be one of the hardest messages to compose because words truly cannot convey all of our gratitude, love, and awe at what WeddingBox helped us create, it was truly a fairy tale and dream come true. The best part is that it was all real life :) When we decided to take a leap of faith and plan a destination wedding (DO IT!! IT IS SO INCREDIBLY WORTH IT!) we started researching extensively the wedding planning companies around the Lake Como area. After several Skype consults and many emails, we connected with WeddingBox. Something was incredibly different with them, and we could tell from our first interaction with WeddingBox, that they were extremely easy going but reassuring, not pushy at all, and they made it very clear that we were a team in putting together our special day just how we would want it. Correspondence was timely (although once wedding season starts, you do have to be a little more patient :), and let me tell you how much the little bits of humor made me smile as we were so stressed to make the right decision. It became clear that this would be the best fit for us and so we went forward. We definitely were nervous about taking this leap, but we can 100% vouch for WeddingBox, it was one of the best decisions we have ever made!! Planning a wedding from across the Atlantic ocean seemed extremely daunting, but Polina kept everything organized and helped us focus on a few things at a time - accomplishing all of the planning over thousands of emails, photos, etc. Skype or Facetime. She was AMAZING!!! Always cheerful, kind, funny, calm and professional; you could tell that she is very passionate about her job and helping couples during one of the most special times of their lives. She treated us not only as a customer/client, but as friends. Seeing an email from Polina was always my favorite way to start the day (as the time difference often worked out that way). Once we booked our venue officially (Villa del Balbianello), all of the vendor options were truly amazing, and the delivery on the wedding day was top notch!!! Class Eventi was exceptional and extremely professional (the food was DELICIOUS as well!), Blunotte’s music and lighting were absolutely gorgeous, the flowers and venue set-up literally made me cry tears of joy over how perfectly it was done. LITERALLY everything was perfect and Polina, WeddingBox, and the wonderful vendors are 100% to thank for that. We definitely had some last minute things that came up (forgot to buy the wedding almonds, our wedding signs got messed up last minute before leaving the US just to name a few…), but Polina WORKED MIRACLES, and helped us fix everything, and never even seemed flustered. She was there our entire wedding night and made sure everything ran 100% smoothly. We don’t know if we can ever thank Polina and WeddingBox enough!! They will forever have an incredibly special place in our hearts!!

She replies very promptly, and what’s best she seem to know everyone within the industry and was able to link us with the right people. I’m so happy we found Wedding Box Lake Como! We wanted a small wedding and were struggling to get replies from other companies around Italy as soon as they found out the size, but Sally and her team instantly replied and carried on doing so even after finding out the number. People say weddings are meant to be stressful and slightly a pain to organise, but Sally made the whole process enjoyable, fun and simple. All our guests were amazed and stunned by both the location and all the details, a lot of them said it must have been really hard (and stressful) to organise but I had to be honest and say it really wasn’t and all the hard work was done by Sally. My wife and I got engaged in Varenna, Lake Como and from that moment we knew we wanted to get married there. We met with several wedding planners from the area but none filled us with more confidence than WeddingBox. The day we met, they took us by boat to see two venues at little notice. This was very different to the other planners, who we met at each venue by car (took hours!!). The rapport WeddingBox displayed with the owners of the venues and suppliers really did make us feel like we were in capable hands. All through the build up to the wedding Sally was on hand to help us through the process, give advise on what works best and guide us all the way to our big day. On the day, Sally and her team worked so hard to make sure everything was perfect while blending in with the guests and taking care of all of our needs. She even drove two guests home and popped out to get the father-in-law a bottle of brandy! We can't thank Sally and her team enough and we highly recommend WeddingBox Lake Como. In fact, everyone we have met through Sally has been amazing from Sabrina at our venue to her husband Luli who took us out on the boat to see the venues initially. If you are thinking of getting married on Lake Como then do it with these guys, you will have the best and easiest time, they really are superb at what they do!

My now husband and I live in Nashville, TN, so when we decided we wanted to get married at Lake Como, there was a bit of concern about how we were actually going to make this dream a reality. After doing a bit of research online, I reached out to WeddingBox to inquire about their planning services. From the very first chat we had with our planner, Liz, I knew that they were the right choice. For almost a year, we were in constant contact, and she helped with everything from picking the venue, offering creative with ideas for the big day, securing all the vendors, and most importantly - putting my mind at ease and making this a stress free process. Having not ever been to Lake Como nor the venue itself, I was a bit uncertain about how this would all pull together, but Liz blew away all of my expectations and turned our wedding into the most beautiful event I've ever seen. Over the year, she had gotten to know us well and knew exactly what we liked and the look we were going for, and she absolutely nailed it! I couldn't be happier with our decision to get married abroad and can't recommend WeddingBox enough! I was also able to meet Danielle and Sally while we were there, and can say that the whole company is genuinely invested in their brides (and grooms), and making sure the day goes off without a hitch. My husband and I were married in Lake Como at Villa del Balbianello less than 2 weeks ago. I first reached out to Svetlana over a year ago. She has the patience of a saint! We probably exchanged over 20 emails in the beginning before she even secured me as a client! At that time, I wasn't even sure of the venue or even if having a wedding in Lake Como was feasible. She was basically dispensing ideas and advice without even knowing if I was going to use her services or pay her for any of the work up to that point. That was a great first impression. I definitely felt comfortable enough to go forward, and she continued to be comforting, collected, reassuring, and prompt until the very last day! She worked within my budget and was very organized. She listened to me and remembered my preferences, even the little ones that I mentioned in passing and forgot about later on. She delivered 100% on our wedding day. It was an absolute dream and everything went off without a hitch. I am so glad we used their services and would highly recommend Svetlana to anyone planning a wedding in Lake Como.

We planned our wedding from Los Angeles, CA and got married at Villa del Balbianello in Lake Como. Annie was so great during the entire process. Well what can we say? FANTASTIC only goes part way. We wanted a simple fuss free wedding day with our small group of family around us. Zaira and Jay listened and got everything perfect. From first contact, through paperwork and final arrangements all was easy and made simple. The day itself was just shear bliss. My husband, Simon, and I married in the stunning Villa Balbianello in August 2015. It was simply a perfect day and there is nothing I would have done differently. This is in part due to Sally and her team at the Wedding Box. Sally successfully negotiated and secured our preferred venue when there wasn’t any availability for full hire in July or August; she was extraordinarily responsive to our frequent requests, took delivery of our wedding parcels and even helped us to assemble our favours the day before the wedding in a local bar while sipping Limoncello. Most importantly, Sally made the venue work for us when storms were forecast; in fact I believe the venue set-up on the day worked better for us than it would have if the weather had been calmer. In my experience, there is no need to stress over the details of how your wedding day will pan out (including the weather) because Sally and her team can take care of everything and let you get on with enjoying the happiest day of all, your wedding day.
