Very nice selection of wines and super super nice owners. Friendly,knowledgeable and passionate for the products they sell. We came across this store by surprise and end up buying two bottles of wine. I strongly recommend this store.

Very nice shop, small but mighty selection of brunellos, chianti and others. Owners are passionate advocates for lucca wine! Also very helpful in helping navigate, told us which rossos were a good ‘trade down’ on brunellos, which local lemoncellos to try versus Sicilian ones.

Amazing shop with local products, focus on wines of the region. We wanted to buy some wine for our last dinner in Italy. The owner asked us which were our preferences in taste and recommended three of them. He mentioned his favourite was actually the cheapest one so we decided to buy that one. We also bought olive oil of the area and some traditional biscotti. All were delicious and we paired the white wine with some bread from a local bakery which he recommended, the olive oil and some tuscan cheese. Perfect combination! Reasonable prices, great shop, friendly and honest owner!

Excellent advice on the wine they sell, which includes much local wine. Is also happy to recommend cheaper wines. Also because of excellent English gives free advice on Lucca in general. Thank you.

This is the BEST place to buy wine in Lucca. We stock up on his amazing selection of wines to bring home to Switzerland. We come to Lucca twice a year and this is our first stop! I wouldn’t even think of buying from anyone else. He’s knowledgeable and has wines that are biodynamic/organic. Go here for all your wine needs!

Great place to buy wine

I loved the shop right from the beginning, it's small, it offers a variety of local wines and also others but most amazing is the owner of the shop (I assume he was the owner) - he was really nice and advised us very well. If you are in Lucca and you love wine - the vineria Dolce Vita is a must stop!

Excellent wine store, with a very knowledgeable owner who can advise (and very expertly) the right wine for you. And he's often recommending cheaper wines than you would expect. Plus good and small selection of olive oils and other local produce. Highly recommended.
