Wonderful dining experience! We had the “surprise 5 course” meal and it was FANTASTIC from start to finish. Service was amazing. The pumpkin gnocchi and cod fish were the stars of the show. Thank you for such a lovely experience

Zenzero offers top quality food beautifully presented. If you're looking for a great meal which breaks out of the standard Tuscan fare this is the place to go.

Over a 2 week trip to Tuscany and Rome, our meal at Zenzero was our favorite. From start to finish there was absolutely nothing that disappointed us. The quality and presentation were excellent and I'm so glad I chose this restaurant over many others in the area near our hotel.

One of a kind dining experience. Incredible food, presentation, and service. The attention to detail and passion for ingredients is clear, a spectacular meal.

Ristorante appena fuori dalle porte di lucignsno, una ottima atmosfera e un personale davvero speciale, accoglienti , gentili e mai e dico mai invadenti. Tutto è impostato per fornire varie esperienze gustative attraverso i loro percorsi, noi abbiamo scelto il percorso rosso , quello a base di carne, che dire tutto davvero speciale , i tortelli con la chianina fuori dal comune così come la guancia cbt. Una cantina di vini molto ben curata e molto interessante. Ci torneremo sicuramente.

This experience was just.. incredible. The dishes tasted magnificent (in the Red and Blue menu). You should definitely have dinner here; it’s a no-brainer.

Really fun place to dine. Very creative cuisine. Had the "green menu" option, all vegetarian. It was delightful. Very reasonably priced. The little town of Lucignano was fun to visit. Easy 30 minute drive from Cortona.

Accostamenti inusuali serviti con raffinatezza e tanta professionalità. Il proprietario molto simpatico esprime passione e mostra tanta competenza relativamente a ciò che propone e anche per ciò che concerne i vini. Aroma e profumo caratterizzano ogni piatto sapientemente cucinato. Bellissima esperienza che rifaremo sicuramente ogni volta che avremo bisogno di essere coccolati dal cibo e dalla magia

Overrated in my point of view: the food was ok, but compared to places which make less fuzz about everything not good enough. In the end overpriced for what you get. The good thing: this way we discovered Lucignano, which is a sweet town on the hills.

Fantastic Tuscan-fusion food, lovely garden seating and faultless service. Something different and highly recommended.

Siamo stati accolti calorosamente qui, abbiamo trascorso una serata meravigliosa e abbiamo mangiato deliziosamente. Il servizio era di prima classe, tutti i piatti ci sono stati spiegati in inglese. Ci è stato consigliato un vino fantastico. La selezione dei piatti è varia e squisita, ottime composizioni! È possibile ordinare menù già pronti oppure il classico 'à la carte'. Nel Giardino Segreto, lontano dal trambusto serale della strada, un'esperienza che riempie tutti i sensi! Grazie per questa serata indimenticabile!

This place was an unexpectedly pleasant experience. We were very reluctant in the beginning as our experiences with other fusion restaurants around were really bad. We had a blue and a red menu, both were very good. Personally, I liked the blue more. It was the first time in a while that I had a dish that didn't matter how you ate it, it was still very good. From my point of view a very hard thing to accomplish generally. The menu is just enough, you are full but not in the sense that you cannot breathe anymore. I liked a lot the desert, the lemon. It was not overly sweet, lemony, and light. The garden is very cute as well.

Piacevolissima esperienza. Cibo molto buono (tonno rosso, ravioli ripieni di burrata e ombrina). Staff cordiale e disponibile. Giardino all’aperto davvero caratteristico. Prezzi più che giusti per la qualità espressa.

Fine dining. Delicious food, excellent service and private garden. The picture is a lemon cheesecake with white chocolate coating and looking like a lemon.

Abbiamo cenato per il nostro anniversario, locale carino cibo ricercato ,un po caro rispetto ad altri ristoranti della zona, comunque una buona esperienza.

Had an incredible meal here. This restaurant was such a lovely surprise. The green menu was so light and fresh - perfect for a hot summer day after eating a lot of heavy tuscan food all week. Everything was full of flavor. I absolutely loved the lemon strawberry dessert - one of the best desserts I’ve had in recent memory. Gazpacho was also perfection. It really felt like every dish was an ode to its ingredients. This restaurant also has a lovely secret garden area - gorgeous ambiance. Service was warm and hospitable. Highly recommend!

Grazie mille For this wonderful evening! We had a great dinner for two, the owner of the restaurant was a fantastic host, always present but never to much. We had the vegetarian and fish menu which both were really good, we shared both. I can highly recommend to visit Zenzero if you are in the area. If we are we would 100% come again. A wonderfully interesting break from traditional Tuscan cuisine. Excellent food with the slightest Asian touch, in keeping with the puns of the restaurant name and the tranquil, stylish but simple decor and atmosphere. This restaurant is a great find. Everything—from the special ginger-based aperitivo to the exceptional coffee at the end of the meal was first-rate. Highly recommended.

Ho avuto il menu verde, che era senza carne. Il menu vegetariano era estremamente premuroso, creativo e delizioso. Sono state combinate consistenze e gusti diversi. È stato semplicemente divertente. Anche mio marito era entusiasta del suo menu e si è lasciato andare. Anche il servizio era perfetto, attento e presente quando ne avevi bisogno ma mai invadente, ma davvero professionale. Sappiamo da altri buoni ristoranti che non riesci nemmeno a divertirti perché ti chiedi costantemente se sei soddisfatto. Quindi ci è davvero piaciuto qui

A great experience in Lucignano. The food is extraordinary - special, interesting and not trying to be too sophisticated without a reason, but simply delicious. The vegetarian options are magnificent (recommended even if you are not a vegetarian), and there are also gluten free options. Most important, Fabrizio is a welcoming and pleasant host, and he is happy to fit the meal to the client’s needs. We liked it so much that we dined there twice in our 3 days stay in Lucignano. Don’t miss it.

Ottimo ristorante. Il personale è super attento e gentile e l'atmosfera è molto accogliente. Hanno diversi menù tra cui scegliere, a prezzo fisso, oppure direttamente i piatti à la carte che si desidera ordinare. Abbiamo ordinato i menu Rosso e Blu da mangiare accompagnati da alcuni vini locali che erano tra i primi dieci. Ci hanno offerto anche un antipasto e del pane di accompagnamento. Tutti i piatti hanno una presentazione spettacolare, il rapporto qualità prezzo è imbattibile e nel piatto non avanza alcun elemento. I dolci erano dieci. Il menu ti sazia e sei soddisfatto delle porzioni. Sito molto buono

o e il mio compagno da anni giriamo per ristoranti questa portata, una cucina più ricercata. Eravamo già stati in questo locale qualche mese fa e siamo voluti tornare. Questa volta abbiamo optato per il menù alla carta e non per la degustazione come l’altra volta. se La prima volta era stata una piacevole scoperta, oggi si è confermato essere qualcosa di più; personale gentilissimo e preparato, piatti ricercati e materie prime di ottima qualità. I primi sono stati un’esplosione di sapori e i secondi altrettanto. La varietà di pane veramente deliziosa, soprattutto la focaccia con uva fragola, MERAVIGLIOSA🍓 Le porzioni sono adeguate, quelle del menù degustazione sono studiate in modo tale da non finire il pasto fastidiosamente sazi. Rapporto qualità prezzo buono vista la qualità e la preparazione. Torneremo sicuramente per provare gli altri piatti del menù! Il nostro nuovo punto di riferimento della zona! Ps non potete terminare il pranzo senza il dessert ❤️

Bellissima esperienza , abbiamo preso 3 menù diversi . Il verde per lo più vegetariano , il rosso menù di carne e il blu di pesce. Accostamenti veramente perfetti soprattutto l'aperitivo con lo zenzero. Consigliatissimo!!!

Pranzato qui in occasione di un’escursione a Lucignano, 2 famiglie con 4 bambini. Personale gentile e accogliente, cucina squisita, tutto ottimo. Davvero apprezzabile la ricerca di sapori e ricette originali.

Abbiamo scoperto per caso questo ristorante. Ottimi gli antipasti (spettacolare il sushi di chianina), poi abbiamo proseguito con i ravioli all'amatriciana che non erano da meno. Per finire un tortino al cioccolato molto buono. Torneremo sicuramente per provare altri piatti. Consigliato

Delicous, nice service, prices very fair for what you get.

It was one of the best experiences we had in our trip to Italy. The place, the chef, the food, all the ambiance was incredible. We didn’t want to leave. The quality is superb and the prices are very reasonable. Thank you so much to the chef who took the time to explain us every dish in English and made an unforgettable night. We will definitely come back !
