Great atmosphere, friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in. The restaurant was very busy but the staff still found time to chat and smile. I have almost no Italian but it was so easy to get what we wanted . The food was excellent and the house white was superb. Walked along the promenade watching the lights dancing across Lake Como, highly recommended .

The Tiramasu is to die for!!!!! Delicious Italian food served in a small local restaurant. We opted for the pumpkin gnocchi and the mushroom tagliatelle, which were both very tasty. The Tiramasu was some of the best I have ever tasted, and this restaurant should be visited even just to taste this dish. It was incredible.

Highly recommend, wonderful friendly staff. Food is also great. Pizza great value, pasta & meat options too. They have a great selection and it is on a beautiful street in Menaggio

Wowzers trousers!

Food is outstanding and lots of unique choices that are slightly different to the other restaurants around Lake Como. Particularly would recommend the Pumpkin Gnocchi and the Tiramisu. These are genuinely some of the best dishes I've had at an Italian restaurant. The prices are also very reasonable and the service is great too. P.s: if you are planning to travel to / from here by Ferry from another town across the lake I would highly recommend checking the ferry timings in advance! We missed the last ferry back to Varenna so had to do a long drive back around the lake!

My wife and I stumbled onto this place as we were looking for a place to eat lunch that had fair prices and catered to the local community. We were not looking for another tourist trap. We were very pleased with the food we got. Everything was incredibly delicious, fresh, and balanced. The service was terrific, in spite of the fact that we were at the restaurant during a very heavy dining time. My Margarita pizza was €7 and her specialty pizza was 10.5€. This restaurant caters to the local Italian community. When you have a restaurant, so popular with the local community, you know the food is authentic, and a good value. We would return to this restaurant again and again, and we highly recommend La Trattoria if you are in the area and want delicious food at a fair price.

Walked by here one day during the day, saw the funghi porcini tagliatelle on the chalkboard menu and made a mental note to come for dinner to try it. Walked in around 8:30 on a Sunday and they sat us immediately. Tried the fried cheese to begin and the flavor was so good! Sometimes I think cheese can be a bit bland but this was salted perfectly. For entrees I got the porcini mushroom pasta and the fresh pasta was delicious. The cream sauce also paired really well with the mushrooms, such a great dish! My partner got the gnocchetti which was also good! For dessert the tiramisu was solid. Great dinner spot tucked away from the Main Street that is definitely worth a visit after aperitivo in the main square!

Great place to eat. The food and service are excellent. Also a good selection of wine. Very friendly atmosphere.

The ambience of this place is really nice and cozy. Service is also spot on. No rooms for complain. They also had a simple pasta prepared to suit the needs of our little ones. Speaking about the pizza we had, they were really OK. This is something that we can order also in authentic Italian restaurant back in Germany. I must stick to three stars because during this trip we did indeed had Pizzas that we found were way better and special. Overall it was a nice experience.

Great food! Beautiful gem in Menaggio - my family and I had long and slightly complicated orders but service was patient and attentive. Amazing wine and food. Would absolutely recommend if visiting Menaggio.

Abbiamo cenato in questa piccola , ma centrale trattoria. Locale molto carino, personale professionale e gentile. Lo stinco di maiale con le patate buonissimo, come anche il goloso tiramisù. Tempi di servizio e prezzi giusti. Posizione ottima molto vicino al lungolago. Piccolo siparietto divertente col cameriere per le lampade sui tavoli... ci siamo trovati molto bene! E anche divertiti! Abbiamo trovato questo ristorante per caso e ci è piaciuto molto. Tipicamente italiano, servizio a 5 stelle, tutti molto cordiali. Abbiamo ordinato un aperol, una birra, una pizza da condividere e un tiramisù (che era fantastico). Per finire 2 caffè. Abbiamo pagato 41€. Lo consiglio vivamente!

Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Primo pitti molto buoni, staff cordiale e ambiente confortevole. Sono stati inoltre molto gentili ad offrirci delle verdure lesse extra per il nostro bimbo di 7 mesi.

Pizza non male anke posto accogliente

Siamo stati oggi a pranzo in questo ristorante, uno dei pochi aperti a pranzo questo periodo invernale. Abbiamo preso lo stinco di maiale e patate al forno, estremamente buoni!! Cottura e sapore perfetto! Anche le patate buonissime! Consigliatissimo! Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo. Se dovessimo tornare a Menaggio ritorneremo a mangiare da voi sicuramente!

Busy venue that has a good range of food items and seems to focus on pizza. Wine/drinks list was also more than adequate. All the food items our group had were tasty .

Pizzoccheri buonissimi. Stinco di maiale buonissimo. Cortesi anche nei momenti di massimo impegno. Senz'altro da provare!!

Non ci tornerei , pizzoccheri con un retrogusto acido, cotechino immangiabile, pizza appena sufficiente, conto senza scontrino , locale pieno hanno fatto fino a tre giri x tavolo perché oggi erano tutti chiusi
