If I could give this place ten stars out of five, I would. Definitely book the tour and tasting. They'll send you directions - it's a bit tricky to get to. Gorgeous location and drive to it. Very welcoming, and lots of great wine and tons of delicious food that just kept coming. We ended up spending three hours hanging out, eating, drinking and having an amazing time. I only left to get to another booking I made. I would have stayed longer if I could have, and they weren't rushing us to leave. Thank you so much, Planeta Ulmo, for such an unforgettable experience!

An enchanted and enchanting place where tasting the fruits of the vineyards is made easy by knowledgeable staff, excellent hospitality and historical surroundings. Sicilian viticulture and hospitality at its best.

Beautiful place! We arrived at 6pm and even though the place was officially closed, the people working there were nice enough to host us for one glass of wine. It was a pleasant experience and the views so picturesque. Thank you! When you’re driving there and not in a 4x4, take the northern road as the road from south is super rocky and at times even precarious.

If you only have one wine estate to visit in Sicily - definitely come here and ask for Givevra to guide you - the most amazing experience!! The highest quality wines at the most modest prices, top-notch service, undivided attention and warm smiles. Highly recommended!

Charming big producers of wine here in Sicily. Enjoyed our brief tour and sampled some good wines, especially the white. They produce all their Chardonnay wine at this location. Try the 2018, great year. The wines are young that we tasted but give 5+ years. Worth a visit. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Would recommend going. Would also suggest a driver, very generous pours might curtail your driving ability. From Sciacca, a private taxi was 140 euros round trip. And he waits for you. Cheers.

Great experience in a magic place, the vineyard itself is really scenic and cosy, very nicely refurbished. The tour was extremely interesting and the tourguide Erica was friendly and very well prepared. We enjoyed a yummy lunch and obviously excellent wine. Impressive also the attention to details in terms of environmentally friendly and sustainable set up of the company and tour itself!!! Definitely recommended

Esperienza meravigliosa nella cantina storica della famiglia Planeta, con visita in cantina e racconto dettagliato e appassionato della storia e dei vini prodotti da parte di Enrica, che ci ha fatti sentire davvero accolti. La cantina è stupenda e i vini buoni e interessanti. Consiglio assolutamente una visita ♥️✨

Planeta Ulmo è un'incredibile cantina a Sambuca. La posizione è bellissima e il vino è così unico e gustoso. Enrica ci ha fatto fare un giro dettagliato e divertente della cantina e abbiamo apprezzato molto sia la nostra degustazione e pranzo. Il nostro tempo in cantina e le nostre conversazioni con Enrica tutti insieme sono il clou del nostro viaggio in Sicilia. Deborah ha aiutato a facilitare il tour e ci ha venduto vino, libri di cucina, e olio d'oliva. Non vediamo l'ora di tornare presto a Planeta Ulmo! Planeta Ulmo is an incredible winery in Sambuca. The location is beautiful and the wine is so unique and tasty. Enrica gave us a detailed and enjoyable tour of the winery and we thoroughly enjoyed both our tasting and lunch. Our time at the winery and our conversations with Enrica all together were highlights of our trip to Sicily. Deborah helped facilitate the tour and sold us wine, cookbooks, and olive oil. We look forward to returning to Planeta Ulmo someday soon!

If you are visiting Sicily & love wines you must visit Planeta Winery! Yesterday we had an amazing tasting experience with Genevra. Her hospitality & wonderful knowledge of all things Planeta made our visit that much more enjoyable. Our tasting was followed by a delicious lunch. Planeta has & always will be my favorite place to visit when I’m in Sicily.

Dovete provare il vino qui quando siete in Sicilia. Io preferisco l'Etna (vino bianco) e il Burdese (vino rosso) e ne ho comprato una confezione da portare a casa e bere lentamente.
