Nota: questo non è un wine bar; In questo luogo vengono organizzati tour sulla produzione di vino biologico. Abbiamo apprezzato il tour con grande piacere e interesse. Il proprietario ha parlato con molta passione per il vino e la sostenibilità. Questa filosofia ci ha davvero affascinato. A causa della pioggia il tour è stato leggermente modificato, ma comunque interessante. La degustazione di vini è stata istruttiva e i vini erano molto buoni. Anche il pranzo era delizioso!

The tour was incredibly insightful! The food and wine pairing - amazing!! Renato and Jean-Luigi were awesome!! Definitely a must when visiting the Tuscan region!!

Amazing place, great tour and tastful wine

Such a fantastic day! We toured with the owner, Renato, and he was authentic & full of knowledge. Wine & olive oil was genuinely delicious! We thoroughly enjoyed the tour, the wine & the lunch! Don’t hesitate, book! So good!

We had such a great experience learning about the winemaking process at La Lastra. Our guide was super knowledgeable about the process, lunch was delicious, and the scenery was beautiful. And the wine was amazing, and flowing! Definitely a highlight of our trip so far. Highly recommend.

We had a fantastic afternoon spent here. Vineyard tour was excellent and very informative. The meal provided was extremely high quality and was made even better with paired wines in a very picturesque setting. Would highly recommend

This was a very nice expérience, to see from A to Z how all the wine is produced. It was very nice to have the tourgide, as he knew all about the wines etc! We have bought 3 bottels and some oil afterwards as it was great while teasting! Wonderfull afternoon..

This is the best and most beautiful winery I have ever been to. The owner is so knowledgeable and thoughtful, giving us the experience of a lifetime. You can tell he is very passionate about the family winery and made you feel like family for the day, treating us with the most wonderful home cooked lunch! My husband and I are both so thankful for one of the best experiences we have ever had while traveling. We hope one day we can come back to La Lastra Winery someday!

Cantina super bella!

My friend and I didn’t have a reservation, and we showed up during one of their classes and they still took great care of us! We had some great wine and got to enjoy the views. Such kind people and amazing wine.

The whole staff was very welcoming and kind. The wine-tour we booked was very informative, interesting and the wine was delicious. We would recommend this to everyone who is visiting siena. It is totally worth it’s price! Thank you la lastra winery!

Abbiamo trascorso un pomeriggio meraviglioso in cantina! Il tour è stato molto interessante e l'host è stato molto accogliente. Anche i vini erano tutti molto buoni e non si è badato a spese nella degustazione. Abbiamo trascorso lì mezza giornata, ci siamo divertiti e abbiamo mangiato benissimo. Nel complesso un'esperienza che sarà ricordata! Raccomandazione al 100%.

THIS! This was the absolute most favorite part of my trip. The passion of the owner, the education of the wine & the strifes of the journey was so beautiful & real. So educational on all things: wine, olive oil, organic creations, climate change, all of it. The wine was amazing & the food was some of the best I’ve had in Italy, bury me with the ravioli. Io e la mia compagna abbiamo fatto una degustazione in questa splendida azienda agricola, è stata una bellissima esperienza. I proprietari sono stati gentilissimi, ci hanno mostrato la cantina (con annessa spiegazione dei processi di produzione dei vari vini), i vigneti e fatto assaggiare una serie di vini e l’olio d’oliva ovviamente di loro produzione. Tutti i prodotti erano davvero di ottima qualità, esperienza consigliata.

Went on the tour with my friends, immediately greeted by very friendly staff. It was easy to get to by taxi from the train station. The location was stunning and a classic tuscan backdrop. The tour was amazing as the guide was super knowledgeable. He used really technical terminology and gave us a brief lesson on the history and detailed info the wine making process. However, if you don't know some biology terms and ideas it might be a bit hard to keep up. He gave very in depth and scientific explanations. The wine-tasting itself was very educational and the light lunch provided was scrumptious (shoutout to the olive oil and tomato). They also helped us find a taxi after the tour. Could not recommend it more.

Incredible experience at the wine tasting and tour at La Lastra. Renato showed us around the beautiful grounds, explaining his process and the intricacies of wine making in Tuscany. We then had a tasting, sampling multiple wines and my favourite meal in Italy so far. It was so authentic and interesting, and the food and wine was incredible. This wine tour started our tuscany adventure the best way i ever could have imagined. Gianluigi was the perfect host and guide. He has such a great attitude and is very personable! This was such an amazing experience and one of our most memorable social experiences. Since the tasting we have traveled all over italy from rome to florance, to venice. I can tell you the wine from La Lastra is still my favourite! The small (if you can call it that) lunch was one of our favourites as well. The freshes cheeses and pesto ravioli to die for. Gianluigi if youre reading this, thank you for everything and we hope the best for you especially!

So glad we did this wine tour with Gianluigi. He was hospitable, funny and informative. It was also such a pleasure to be part of a group and enjoy the experience all together. I definitely recommend doing the tour!

Had a wine tour and tasting here, the sommelier share just enough information for the average person who doesn't know a lot about wine. They also make olive oil and included that on the table during our tasting. Beautiful small family run farm. GRAZIE Mille for the tasting!

When my wife and I book a wine tour / tasting, we want to learn as much as we can about the process of making the wine, down to the original reasons the owners chose that specific land to grow those specific grapes with their specific approach (and what is that approach? and why?). We've probably taken part in 150-200 such events, and found this to be the most satisfactory to date. Christian - one of the owners and our host - created the perfect balance of science, art, and sensory experience throughout our few hours in the tour (though we admit, his level of scientific and academic depth left us wanting even more information about how he thinks about winemaking!). We appreciated how approachable the concepts of soil management and microbiology were, and how he simplified the topics for a general audience without making it feel like he had "dumbed down" the presentation. The food and wines were all delightful, as was the thoughtful narration and friendly welcome of the event. If the option existed to buy an extra-nerdy version of the tour (perhaps one step short of Christian reciting his dissertation) we would happily come back to experience it. Until then, this will remain the best educational tour and tasting we have experienced.
