Tuesday 14 May 2024 to Tuesday 21 May 2024 On Thursday we went mad and bought four one kilogramme bags of Poiatti brand Maltagliati pasta on sale at €1.29 each and six half kilogramme bags of Garofalo brand Radiatori pasta at €1.49 each for a total of €14.10. These are pasta shapes we cannot buy in England but are excellent when you need a shape with substance to it, such as with a thick tomato sauce, diced black olives, oregano and chilli flakes. Tuesday 26 September 2023 to Tuesday 3 October 2023 On Wednesday we just bought a one kilogramme bag of Gocciole chocolate biscuits for my greedy work colleagues at €4.99. On Thursday we bought a jar of Sicilian honey (with oranges) at €6.29 and four one kilogramme bags of Poiatti brand Maltagliati pasta at €1.49 each. On Friday we were very glad to get out of the heat and into a relatively spacious and air-conditioned supermarket. This time we bought eight half kilogramme bags of Garofalo brand Radiatori pasta at €1.49 each. The man in front of us at the checkout raised his eyebrows and I had to explain (in Italian) that we cannot buy this type of pasta in the north of England! Friday 25 September 2020 to Friday 2 October 2020 Clean and spacious supermarket with quite a few, albeit well-spaced, customers. We bought two one kilo bags of Decò pasta (Occhi di Lupo at €0.69 each) and eight half kilo bags of Garofalo pasta (four times Fusilli Bucati Corti and four times Radiatori, shaped like radiators, at €1.30 each). Sunday 5 May 2919 to 12 May 2019 This is a quite large and spacious supermarket by Italian standards. They seemed well stocked and had some lovely looking fruit and vegetables This year we bought four one kilo bags of Decò pasta (two Occhi di Lupo at €0.79 each and two Sedani Grandi at €0.69 each as they were on sale)), two bags of chocolate biscuits at €2.69 each and one bag of lemon biscuits at €1.39. Sunday 8 April 2018 to Sunday 15 April 2018 We bought four one kilo bags of Decò pasta (two Conchiglie Rigate and two Occhi di Lupo) as they were on sale at €0.69 per kilo bag. The normal price is only €0.79 per kilo bag.

We were staying in a b&b nearby and this place was excellent for food and drinks. The staff are friendly and helpful and the prices are really good. There is a meat and cheese counter where they slice meats and cheeses, and also things like olives and artichoke hearts. We went here twice, and on both occasions the bread we bought was still warm or even hot. The booze here is super cheap too with good bottles of wine for about 4 bucks, and red peroni 99c. Brilliant if you don't want to be eating out for every meal. Good food. Great quality. Nice prices and helpful staff.
