Beautiful food and service and especially good risotto lovely and friendly staff

The food was delicious and the service was great. We especially appreciated that they held the perfect table for us right on the canal. The setting is picturesque with boats gently gliding by. Memorable :-)

Best spaghetti meals we have had in Venice. Beautiful canal side restaurant out of the crowds and very reasonably priced. Attentive staff who made sure we understood the menu and pricing. Well worth a visit!

Amazing what you find meandering through Venice’s many long winding “Calles” On my way to see La Libreria Acqua Alta, I heard a commotion and it was a Gondolier in lively banter with a man who as it turns out works at Trattoria Giorgio Di Greco, an idyllic ristorante right on the water with appealing lights and passing water taxis and yes Gondolas I was enticed by the allure and decided to have dinner (Sorry Libreria… Domani) I was greeted by a very pleasant and affable server named “Sam” who made me feel like a welcomed guest in his own home Very lovely indeed I ordered the Capesante ai Ferri (Scallops)!& the Spinaci al Burro They served warm bread (which I usually avoid) but I caved and enjoyed dipping it on the olive oil on the shells the scallops were served on Sam graciously let me charge my phone (there was an outlet by the table) The Capesante were the Best I’ve ever had and I know it’s only spinach but it was prepared perfectly The Valpolicella was an apt compliment I didn’t have Dolci but had a Macchiato which helped warm me up as there was a chill in the air yet calm I highly recommend this hidden gem Ask for Sam who will usher you in and insure an exquisite experience Go! Had to ask for the daily menu and was not given the pizza menu. Only given the more expensive dinner menu. Played rap music throughout lunch. Pasta with meat sauce was good. The sauce had a good bit of meat and tasted of fresh tomatoes. The chicken cutlet was also good. Very flavorful. House wine was OK but expensive. Service was quick and friendly. Prices on the daily menu and the pizza menu were ok Prices on the dinner menu were high.

Posizione molto romantica lungo un bellissimo canale. Le pizze sono buone ma non super speciali. L'uomo che ci ha servito è stato molto gentile. Semplicemente non sapeva esattamente quali birre vendessero lì, ma alla fine riuscì comunque a bere una nuova birra. Più tardi abbiamo incontrato per strada questo signore e ci ha riconosciuto. Poi abbiamo fatto una chiacchierata.

Our party had one gluten sensitive member, and they went above and beyond to accommodate us. They had gluten free garlic bread, pasta, and pizza as options. All the food was extremely good, the service was extremely friendly, and the table settings were great with a wonderful ambiance right along a canal.

Very nice view, but the staff is very persistent to get you to order. Food and drinks were also ok, but I think they were pricy for what you get. I also found it kind of odd that they were pushing us to pay in cash rather than with card…

Posto meraviglioso e ipercalorico in posizione. Ma per il cibo no. Non tornerò una seconda volta e non lo consiglierò. La pizza ai frutti di mare non mi ha entusiasmato. L'impasto non è saporito, i crostacei sono duri. Il tiramisù è buono. L'Aperol spritz non è il massimo.

My family and I ate here on our last evening in Venice. My husband and I ordered the lasagna bolognese, my eldest son ordered paccheri with meatballs and bolognese, and my youngest ordered the spaghetti with lobster. The food was AMAZING, the ambience was breathtaking (outside seating next to the canal) and Sam and the rest of the staff took care of our every need. I highly recommend!

Abbiamo preso solo 1 caffè, 1 tiramisù e 1 negrone, abbiamo pagato 29€ 🙈 Il servizio andava bene, solo al momento del pagamento ci è stato detto senza preavviso che il terminale di pagamento con carta non funzionava, ma purtroppo non avevamo contanti. Il terminale improvvisamente ha funzionato. Negrone un po' amaro, tiramisù ma ottimo, caffè ordinario. L'importo ci ha sorpreso in modo piuttosto spiacevole. L'atmosfera di sedersi proprio sull'acqua, dove navigano molte barche e gondole, ha salvato tutto 😉

Il locale , anche con ampio dehors sul canale , che passa davanti a San Giorgio dei Greci , è veramente vicino alla stessa Chiesa , famosa anche per il campanile pendente . Staff cortese e menù tipico . Abbiamo mangiato sia a pranzo , che a cena e siamo stati sempre molto soddisfatti . Rapporto qualità/prezzo , ottimo

La nostra prima serata a Venezia non avrebbe potuto essere più bella... un'atmosfera molto accogliente proprio sull'acqua, personale molto cortese e un proprietario molto gentile, cibo autentico, preparato deliziosamente e servito in modo attraente. Grazie!

Locali accoglienti proprio accanto a un canale. Prosecco e vino rosso deliziosi, il cibo era fantastico e i camerieri erano incredibilmente abili. Abbiamo ricevuto un servizio eccellente dal nostro cameriere Sam, che ha reso la serata magica. Torneremo sicuramente!
