We did the wine and food tasting at Benanti and it was the best tasting we have ever done! The grounds are breathtakingly beautiful and the sommelier was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The wines were wonderful, and the food pairing was delicious. It was the most wonderful way to spend the afternoon. Highly recommend to anyone in the Etna area!

This was the first winery we visited while in Sicily, and we were not disappointed. I will say, this winery's tours are pricier than others. The food was fantastic, the presentation was great, and the wines were good, but I don't know if all that equates to double the cost other wineries charge. Regardless, we enjoyed our tour, they accommodated our vegetarian preferences, the estate was gorgeous, and our sommelier was very informative. We prefer semi-sweet reds, so we didn't end up buying any wines here, but we found most of the Mt. Etna wines we tried were generally drier. Although pricey, it was a great experience, it was just the two of us and we had so much fun, so would highly recommend! We visited around the third week of September.

The 5 wines plus a bonus wine requested by my wife (a sparkling white) was paired with chef creations for each wine. What a lovely time we had. The wine and food were outstanding. The sommelier was very knowledgeable, spoke excellent English, and was very personable.

If you come to Sicily you NEED to schedule an experience in Benanti, this is our 2nd time visiting the Sicilian island and it has been such a great experience, the attention the installations are just delightful, Giuseppe was just the perfect host, so worth it this is a must for sure 🙌🏻 …

Excellent wine tour and tasting!

Make a reservation before you come! We stopped by for a tasting on our last day in Sicily and they were able to squeeze us in. The wine and food were delicious and the host of the tour was extremely personable. It was such a wonderful activity for our last day in Sicily!

Due to some last-minute schedule changes, we decided to stop into Benanti Winery without an appointment in the hopes of getting to do a tasting. Unfortunately, there was nothing available, but the woman who helped us kindly let us try a glass of wine and wander around the property. Although they were very busy, they were able to help answer any questions we had about their wines. I am eagerly looking forward to receiving the case of wine ordered to continue to enjoy their wine!

One of my favorite wineries on Etna. Their wine is just delightful. Ample parking, a great informative tour with friendly, knowledgeable staff, and delicious food! I think their wine is some of the best on Etna!! Worth the slightly higher tasting fee.

We stopped on a whim and were lucky enough to get in on a tasting but this place was amazing. We did a wine tasting with food pairing, everything was delicious and perfect. Our guide was so friendly and knowledgeable, we had a ball and the grounds are beautiful. Highly recommend adding this to your Etna Winery tour list!!

Che esperienza FANTASTICA è visitare e godersi una degustazione a Benanti. Personale meraviglioso (Francesco e Giuseppe sono affascinanti), vini deliziosi e un aperitivo incredibilmente buono. Le stanze, la storia, tutto crea un'esperienza davvero speciale.

WOW, you must go here. The wine is fantastic (the sparkling rose wine is the perfect summer wine). The food pairings were some of the best I’ve ever had. The sommelier was so fun and lovely too. He did a great job of explaining the differences and was super funny too! They even helped us get our car out after we got it stuck haha. Oh and the property is GORGEOUS!!

If you have a chance to experience their tasting experience, don't miss it! It is totally worth it. They completely set the bar when it comes to hospitality, knowledge, sommeliers, food pairing and off course the wines. This was the best and most complete wine tastings we have experienced untill so far. It was actually an 'EXPERIENCE'. To summarize; everything at Benanti is about top-end quality. From the looks & feel to their passionate and knowledgeable sommeliers and products they serve. From the outside it is difficult to see that such an oasis is hidden behind the walls. Upon arrival we were welcomed in a very pleasant way. The 'tour' was very informative, plenty of room to ask questions. The sommelier has very in-depth broad knowledge, elegance, good English and great passion about wine and food. The wines are high quality, it always stays a matter of personal preference if you like them or not. The extra element was the high quality foodpairing. The sommelier shares his knowledge on the served wines and gives the suggestions for the food pairing, that is actually served in multiple courses (size of amuses) and is something special and very complete. Would highly recommended! The total experience has the wow factor. Reservations are required and arranged very efficiently and quick, also top quality communication beforehand. Thank you!

We had a private food and wine tasting at Benanti!!! It was simply stunning. We ended up tasting six wines and had a multi course lunch that was outstanding. Thanks Giuseppe for being a great host!!!

Thank you for one of the greatest wine tasting experiences. We have been to wineries in Australia (south, north and west) Tuscany, France, Germany, Croatia and the USA and today was by far the greatest experience.Thx again for a great afternoon.
