I had my doubts when I read the reviews after I made the reservation. But it turned out to be a great experience. It was almost flawless from pick up to drop off, I found the staff at the rental to be friendly, professional and very helpful. As a Fastbreak customer, this was easily one of the best Budget experiences I had.

Siamo finiti qui dopo un'esperienza negativa con un'altra società di noleggio. È andato tutto molto bene. La signora al bancone è stata molto gentile e ha esaminato con noi il contratto di noleggio per assicurarsi che tutto fosse chiaro. L'auto era in perfetto ordine, pulita e con il pieno di carburante. Anche il ritorno è andato molto bene. Prezzo corretto.

Nessuna lamentela da fare. Penso che sia una buona compagnia di noleggio economica. Abbiamo ricevuto l'auto in ottime condizioni, ho fatto delle foto dell'esterno e dell'interno, non ho danneggiato l'auto, l'ho restituita in tempo e l'ho rifornita di carburante come concordato. Ho restituito l'auto senza problemi in un'atmosfera molto piacevole. Sal. Tieni presente che non noleggerai una Ferrari per "10 euro".

The good thing was the car was great. Not great that it was from a practical point impossible to fill it up completely. At the end it didn’t matter as due to the traffic jam we were unable to fill it up anyway. The lady who initially helped us when we picked up the car was friendly and explained everything patiently. The employee checking the car return at the end only spoke Italian plus the document you get to sign at the end is only in Italian. Hidden in the end is the 22% payment of tax which is (unusual in Europe) NOT included in the fees agreed which add up to the total.

Was very easy getting sorted. Ilaria sorted out the paperwork and outlined all the info. My Italian isn't great but she spoke English which was very helpful. When we returned we chucked them the keys and that was the end of that.

We had no issues but the queue to pick up our car was long. Give yourself an extra hour to get the rental

sono stato molto fortunato, ho trovato la operatrice sig.ra Cristina, mi ha spiegato chiaramente tutte le condizioni di noleggio, le tariffe applicabili e le clausole, sempre con il sorriso, l'auto era praticamente nuova e di classe superiore, che altro aggiungere, complimenti!! Alla riconsegna del veicolo tutto è andato bene senza alcuna sorpresa, ringrazio anche il resto dello staff molto cordiale e disponibile a risolvere qualsiasi problematica. Ritornerò sicuramente da Budget. Grazie

I was very skeptical when I read the largely negative reviews about this location. However, our experience was quite pleasant. The staff was very courteous and our whole rental process was uneventful. Good location too. The only downside is that this is offsite from the airport - but that’s no fault of Budget.

La prenotazione online ha funzionato molto rapidamente, in modo amichevole e semplice sul posto. Non mi aspettavo davvero una riduzione del prezzo perché abbiamo restituito l'auto con tre giorni di anticipo.

Friendly workers. Confusing returning a car after the place was closed tho. Get full coverage insurance, you won't regret it. bc ppl be crazy

Office has moved to the new beige stone building

I booked an automatic car with Budget (through AutoEurope) at Florence airport, and although I was a bit worried by some of the bad reviews Budget got, I found them pleasant, helpful and had no problems picking up or returning the car. I got a free upgrade for a larger car - and it was really free! I would have preferred a smaller car had it been available, but it was a nice, new car, so no complaints.

After having some initial difficulty with my rental, it is people like Teresita who make me continue my corporate relationship with Budget. Thank you very much Budget is lucky to have people like Teresita associated with the organization.

The attendant Serena was amazing giving us suggestions on our trip and where to leave the car. She even took the time to call and ensure that the drop-off would be open for us over the weekend as we headed to Pisa. Serena was a pleasure to deal with and I highly recommend Budget.

Very friendly and quick

I'm posting this now to protect myself upon delivery. Please see the photos attached - it is to protect myself regarding extensive damages on this vehicle that were not checked before leaving the lot. I have a video of a complete walk around which is too large to post and I need wifi to upload to a cloud drive but it was taken stating the date while still in the lot. It is crazy that your employees do not check the car. They said "two issues" - there are many many issues. We do not want to get charged for this nonsense on return. This was posted the day of my booking. I will remove this review upon the return of my keys and ensuring I'm not charged for damages.

Difficilissimo mettersi in contatto con loro per un problema post vendita. Però un'impiegata molto gentile alla fine mi ha promesso di richiamarmi e l'ha fatto davvero. Grazie

All in all it was a good experience. I’m noticing terrible reviews for budget in Italy in general and today we are dropping back to Rome and I’m seeing awful reviews there. We got the manual small car we wanted from the Florence location, staff were very nice and there was a short wait time. Nothing out of the ordinary to report. I guess it just depends on the time of day and the situation.

Dropped car off here, had no more than a ten minute wait to be seen. The man checked the car over, confirmed the fuel tank was full, and confirmed the amount that would be charged to the credit card. We signed it and left to get the shuttle bus to airport which came 5 mins later. Smoother process than we expected! No restroom but there was a small snack truck settling a wide variety of food/drinks. The actual Avis/Budget office was just a small shipping container styled office. Service was efficient for the number of people returning/collecting vehicles. Much faster dropping off than our collection from the city office which took 2.5 hours.

Once the line finished the service was very quick, the only detractor that brought it from 5 star to four star was the long wait of the people in front of me
