Outstanding service, they went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed. We went through 3 cars before we found one that fit our family and luggage, and they were very patient with us. The car we ended up taking was actually an upgrade and they didn’t charge us extra. Turn in was easy as well. Make sure you get the full coverage insurance, it’s really easy to get scratches and bumps in Italy. Even if you’re a good driver, the parking lots will get you. I had 3 minor scratches on turn-in and didn’t pay anything extra because of the coverage.

I booked a convertible to enjoy the drive through the hills of Tuscany. I got a very cute convertible mini Cooper and it was very pleasant to drive. Sepehr helped us with the check in process and he was wonderful. He came with us to the car and made sure all the little scratches are logged so we don't get charged for those. He also went above and beyond to explain to us how Google maps doesn't work as well as Waze in the smaller historic towns since there is limited local traffic only and you will get fined if you enter certain areas. Make sure you research where to park so you avoid getting a ticket. You might pay a little bit extra but you get very good customer service and you are confident that you won't get extra charges after you return the vehicle. Overall great experience and I would recommend renting from them.

Great experience. I asked for a car with the smallest mileage, and they gave me a brand-new car! For a decent price! They accepted a debit card. There was no queue when I arrived so I got the car in no-time. No paperwork, you just sign a digital document and receive it on the email. Drop-off also fast and transparent, took less than 2 minutes. No hidden fees or charges. Highly recommend!

Per necessità di lavoro dovute ad un guasto della mia personale autovettura mi sono trovato a dover noleggiare un'auto per i miei spostamenti. Sixt è stata un'eccellente soluzione. Ringrazio Matilde, Alice e Irene che in filiale sono riuscite a risolvere ogni mia esigenza sul noleggio aiutandomi nell'attesa della riparazione della mia auto. Già in passato avevo noleggiato auto in Italia e all'estero presso la vostra compagnia e confermo l'ottima professionalità e la vasta gamma di scelta del parco auto. Molto consigliato!

Great service at pick up! Lots of helpful imformation and even gave us bottled water for our drive. The car was great and in great condition. Clean. It was the perfect car for our drive to Tuscany. Lots of room. Navigation was awesome. I would give 5 stars except for the drop off. When we went to drop it off there was no one at the counter and the doors were locked. We had to walk over to the pick up to get help. The agent there told us that there was supposed to be 2 agents working there. She called and one finally came. Thankfully our flight was the next day or we wouldn’t been in trouble. This wouldn’t prevent us from using this company again though as they were great otherwise.

For my visit in Tuscany, i did a lot of research and ask some places for car rentals. Out of several places, Sixt Firenze Airport has one of the best reviews among other. In my opinion this is because: Upon your booking, they send you a proof of your booking. Which helps you to see what kind of items included in your bill. What are the terms and conditions that stick to your name. Then during the visit, it was pretty smooth transaction. However, there was a slight increase with all inclusive damage/stolen/theft insurance from pro forma and car pick-up. So we add additional 100 EUR. You may wonder why i give them 5 stars still? It is because their additional still counts as overall cheaper than other car rentals that have similar good reviews. Overall, the car was great! Lives up to the expectations of my driving. My recommendation for you: if you have never driven in such hilly and difficult terrain like italy, I suggest you take automatic transmission. It cost you extra, but it give you lots of peace. Also, they pretty open about the damage, but once you got all inclusive, it doesnt matter with any damages 🥗

Excellent service, friendly staff. The only thing you need to be careful about is that the collection office and the return office are in two separate places. A bit of a challenge when you are staggering off a plane. Signposts would help.

Raccomando il miglior servizio

Grazie a Mario per la sua accoglienza, il check-in dell'auto è stato rapido ed efficiente. La restituzione del veicolo, invece, è più complicata. L'ho riportato indietro alle 5 del mattino quindi l'agenzia era chiusa. L'ho restituito con il serbatoio pieno, ma mi sono stati addebitati 220 euro... Per fortuna avevo conservato la ricevuta del distributore di benzina, ho fatto delle foto all'indicatore del serbatoio e ho contattato il servizio clienti Sixt France. Ho ricevuto un rimborso il giorno successivo. Anche il liquido lavacristallo risultava vuoto appena ritirato il veicolo, un piccolo dettaglio poco rilevante ma poco pratico.

Paolo/M6 was very professional and did not forced us to buy the car insurance when he learned we are using the Chase Visa car rental insurance coverage. However, we wished he told us that hé already notated the previous scratches in the car because after we droved off, we discovered the old scratches and was worried that we forgot to review and notate the scratches in the contract. But all is good because we were not charged for the old scratches when we got the final bill thé thé e-mail.
